Andrés Ruiz started his trumpet studies in 2006 at the Municipal School of Music of Punta Umbría with Felipe Marianas. He started the Professional Degree with the highest grades in the entrance exam, being for the following years his teacher, at the Professional Conservatory of Music "Javier Perianes", Francisco Escobar and a few years later Carlos Garrido. He did his Bachelor trumpet studies under the tutelage of Vicente Alcaide, finishing them with honors. Afterwards he finished the master and postgraduate with Cum Laude under the teaching of Simon Van Hoecke.

During his career, he has received training of different characteristics, from professors and orchestra soloists of international level such as Benjamín Moreno, Adán Delgado, Fabio Brum, Fernando Ciancio, Manuel Blanco, Germán Asensi, Alejandro Castañeda, Salvador Ibáñez, Christian Ibáñez , Ángel San Bartolomé, Esteban Batallán, Sarah Slater, Manu Mellaerts, Roberto Bodí, Kristian Steenstrup, Antonio Vera, Giuliano Sommerhalder, Miroslav Petkov... among others. He has been a member of different Youth Orchestras, such as the Orquesta Joven de Andalucía (since 2008 to 2019), Orquesta Joven de Extremadura, Youth Orchestra of Flanders, Orquesta Joven de la Comunidad de Madrid, Orchestra of the University of Huelva, Symphonic Orchestra of Punta Umbría, among others.

He also participated actively in different programs with professional orchestras and ensembles, such as the Cordoba Symphony Orchestra, Royal Symphony Orchestra of Seville, Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra or Extremadura Symphony Orchestra, Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, Ictus Ensemble, National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia, Ensemble XXI, among others. He is currently an active member of CASCO Phil and Lerici Festival Orchestra. He has received and receives orchestral training, participating in several programs under the baton of Michael Thomas, Juanjo Mena, Elim Chan, Thomas Clamor, Manuel Hernández-Silva, Nuno Coelho, Alexander Liebrich, Alejandro Posada, Andrés Salado, Lucas Macías or Pablo González among many others. He is currently studying the Master in Cornet of pistons at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp under the tutelage of Lode Violet.
