VADUZ

Sound poetry by Bernard Heidsieck

From vertigo of lists to vocal riot... Vaduz is without a doubt Bernard Heidsieck's most famous poem, written to be performed standing up with a microphone and a tape recorder. Reenacted by Jean-Luc Plouvier, it will be part of the Lautpoesiefestival, three days of Spoken Word Poetry in Freiburg im Breisgau. “The simultaneity of the heavy and the light, of desperate helplessness and black humour is the kinship characteristic of the performances of many sound poets,” say the organisers of these three very special days.
